❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me. A must-have for any dark ambient fan's collection.

Fantastic release, a unique blend of dark Ambient, neo folk, traditional Nordic music with a touch of neoclassical elements as well. Honestly have never heard anything quite like this, and they manage to make it all blend together seamlessly to create a truly epic listening experience.

It's hard to pin down this album - each track is unique in its own ways, from the piano melodies in Anna to the crashing waves in Cliff. Sublime brooding, emotional dark ambient music well worth a listen or several.
